Thanks to Yuppiechef and their Eat For The Earth initiative we had a grand ‘ol time and did some good too. Between babies, milk bottles and nappies we managed to catch up with old friends to celebrate World Environmental Day, which is today by the way, 5 June.
A good selection of organic wines primed our tummies for a scrumptious veggie burger with mushroom sauce. This was sided by some home made fries and a slightly offbeat green salad that included cranberries and raw beetroot. The grand finale was a celestial baklava rounded of with a mini cup of organic coffee.
